Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Saturday, 1446/4/24, which coincides with 1403/8/5, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided with necessary services in different areas.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

15 families returned to the country through Torkham and 72 members of these families were registered and biometriced.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (80,000 Afghanis) is given to 10 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 89 families have been settled in Torkham Omari camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in the Torkham camp:

Food: 362 meals and water have been distributed in Torkham.

Health: 205 returnees have been treated in Torkham.

Communication: 59 SIM cards have been distributed to the returnees, free of charge, with free minutes and internet bundles enabled.

In Torkham, some clothes such as mattresses and other things have been distributed to the refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Spin Boldak, 4 families with 17 members have returned to the country and have been registered.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (34,000) Afghanis is paid to 4 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 160 meals and water are distributed in the Spin Boldak.

Health: 0 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: From the Telecommunication Services Agency, 80 SIM cards have been distributed to the returned refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Clothing: In temporary camps, tents and blankets have been distributed to refugees as needed.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

16 families with 66 members have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province and have been registered and also 464 travelers have returned to the country.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (116,000 Afghanis) has been given to 15 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communication: 16-digit SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, by the officials of the communication and information technology.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

9 families with 29 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (56,000) Afghanis has been given to 9 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

8 families from Kabul, whose members were 36 have been safely transported to Baghlan, Kunduz, Balkh and Takhar provinces and these families have been given 20,000 Afghani rent.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (44) families and (184) individuals

Transported refugees: (8) families and (36) individuals

Assisted migrants: (38) families

Shared SIM Cards: (155) Digits
