Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Wednesday, 1446/5/11, which coincides with 1403/8/23, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided necessary services in different areas.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

12 families returned to the country through Torkham and 65 members of these families were registered and biometriced.

Transportation committee

10 families with 61 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Kabul and Nangarhar provinces and 34,000 Afghani rent has been given to these families.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (152,000) Afghanis has been given to 17 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in the Torkham camp:

Food: 190 food and water are distributed in Torkham.

Health: 213 returned refugees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 69-digit SIM cards have been distributed to the returnees free of charge, with free minutes and internet bundles enabled.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

30 families with 167 members returned to the country and were registered through Spin Boldak.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (272,000) Afghanis has been given to 33 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 437 food and water are distributed in the Spin Boldak.

Health: 120 returned refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communication: The Department of Communication Services has distributed 177 SIM cards to the returned refugees free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

74 families with the number of 281 members have returned to the country and registered 1488 travelers have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (494,000) Afghanis has been given to 67 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 131 families have been settled in Nimroz temporary camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communication: 74-digit SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees by the officials of communication and information technology for free, which included free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

99 families with 377 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (716,000 Afghanis) has been given to 98 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 219 families have been settled in Islam Qala camp.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (215) families and (890) individuals

Deported refugees: (10) families and (61) individuals

Assisted migrants: (215) families

Temporarily settled migrants: (350) families

Shared SIM Cards: (320) Digits
