Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Monday, 30/5/1446, Corresponding to 12/9/1403 AH, Afghan refugees returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

24 families returned to the country through Torkham and 125 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportation committee

15 families with 92 members have been safely transported from Torkham to Kabul and Nangarhar, and (65,000) Afghanis have also been paid to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (276,000) Afghanis have been provided to 32 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Omari Camp:

Food: 136 food parcels and water have been distributed in Torkham.

Health: 255 returning refugees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 80 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

20 families with 112 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

7 families with 39 members have been safely transferred from Spin Boldak to Helmand and Zabul, and (15,000) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (184,000) Afghanis has been provided to 22 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 329 meals of bread and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 49 returned refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 77 SIM cards have been distributed to the returned refugees by the Communications Services Authority, which includes free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

38 families with 147 members from Nimroz province have returned to the country and registered, and 1185 passengers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

33 families have been provided with a total of (228,000) Afghanis by the Financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today, 269 families have been resettled in the temporary camp in Nimroz.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: The officials of the Communications and Information Technology Department distributed 38 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants from the Abrishom way of Nimroze. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

130 families with 481 members returned to the country and registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (934,000) Afghanis have been provided to 128 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

2 families with 12 members from Kabul have been safely transported to Khost and (5,000) Afghanis have also been provided to these families as rent.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (212) families and (865) individuals

Transferred refugees: (24) families and (143) individuals

Assisted refugees: (215) families

Temporarily settled refugees: (269) families

SIM cards distributed: (195) units
