Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Monday, 1446/6/7, corresponding to 1403/9/19, Afghan refugees returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

13 families returned to the country through Torkham and 71 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportation committee

6 families with 30 members were safely transported to Kabul from Torkham and (18,000) Afghanis were also paid as a fare.

Financial management Committee

A total of (80,000) Afghanis have been provided to 9 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Umri Camp:

Food: 140 meals, bread and water have been distributed at Torkham.

Communications: 47 SIM cards, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

10 families with 58 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Financial management Committee

A total of (920,000) Afghanis have been provided to 10 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 223 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 80 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 85 SIM cards have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Authority, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province, 35 families with 134 members have returned to the country and registered, and

961 travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (222,000) Afghanis have been provided to 32 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroz:

Communications: The officials of the Department of Communications and Information Technology distributed 35 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, as well as about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Islam Qala, 85 families with 318 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (604,000) Afghanis have been provided to 84 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

2 families with 9 members from Kabul have been safely transferred to Baghlan and Faryab and 3600 Afghanis have been paid as rent.

The total figures of different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (143) families and (581) individuals

Transferred refugees: (8) families and (39) individuals

Helped refugees: (135) families

Distributed SIM cards: (167) numbers
