Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Thursday, 1446/6/22, corresponding to 1403/10/6, Afghan refugees returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

11 families returned to the country through Torkham and 56 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportation committee

3 families with 14 members were safely transported to Kabul from Torkham and (10,000) Afghanis were also paid to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (98,000) Afghanis have been provided to 12 families by the Financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today, 53 families have been settled in the Torkham Umri Camp.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in the Torkham Umri Camp:

Food: 180 meals and water have been distributed in Torkham.

Health: 209 returning refugees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 37 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

8 families with 34 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

6 families with 35 members have been safely transported from Spin Boldak to Kandahar and Kabul, and (18,800) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (68,000) Afghanis has been provided to 8 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 166 meals of bread and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 102 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 34 SIM cards have been distributed to the returnees by the Communications Services Authority, which also includes free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

16 families with 65 members have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province and registered, and 1153 passengers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (170,000) Afghanis have been provided to 22 families by the Financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

346 families have been resettled in the temporary camp in Nimroz.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: The officials of the Communications and Information Technology Department distributed 24 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants from the Abrishom way of Nimroze. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

42 families with 159 members returned to the country through Islam Qala and registered them.

Financial management Committee

A total of (284,000) Afghanis have been provided to 40 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

1 family of 8 members from Kabul has been safely transferred to Kunduz and (10,000) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (77) families and (314) individuals

Transferred refugees: (10) families and (57) individuals

Assisted refugees: (82) families

Temporarily settled refugees: (399) families

Distributed SIM cards: (95) units
