Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Saturday, 1446/6/24, which is considered to 1403/10/8, Afghan refugees returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

2 families returned to the country through Torkham and 10 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportation committee

1 family with 6 members from Torkham was safely transported to Kabul and (8,000) Afghanis were also paid as a fare.

Financial management Committee

A total of (18,000) Afghanis have been provided to 2 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Umri Camp:

Food: 180 meals and water have been distributed at Torkham.

Health: 164 returning refugees have been treated at Torkham.

Communications: 10 SIM cards, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

5 families with 20 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

5 families with 23 members from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Kandahar and Zabul and (6,000) Afghanis have also been provided to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (36,000) Afghanis have been provided to 5 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 198 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 84 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 24 SIM cards have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Authority free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

4 families with 15 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 708 passengers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (30,000) Afghanis have been provided to 4 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: The officials of the Department of Communications and Information Technology distributed 4 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, as well as about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

7 families with 25 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (40,000) Afghanis have been provided to 6 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

5 families with 28 members from Kabul have been safely transferred to Khost and Jawzjan and (28,000 Afghanis) have been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (18) families and (70) individuals

Transferred refugees: (11) families and (57) individuals

Helped refugees: (17) families

Distributed SIM cards: (38) numbers
