Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Sunday, 1446/6/25, which is considered to 1403/10/9, Afghan refugees returned from different parts of the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

7 families returned to the country through Torkham and 35 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportation committee

1 family with 6 members was safely transported to Kabul from Torkham and (8000) Afghanis were also paid as a fare.

Financial management Committee

A total of (60,000) Afghanis have been provided to 7 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Umri Camp:

Food: 90 meals and water have been distributed at Torkham.

Health: 81 returning refugees have been treated at Torkham.

Communications: 41 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

11 families with a total of 50 members have returned to the country and registered.

Transportation committee

2 families with 11 members from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Herat and (5,000) Afghanis have also been paid to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (82,000) Afghanis have been provided to 11 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 94 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 52 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 45 SIM cards have been distributed free of charge to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Authority, which also includes free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

27 families with 118 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 708 passengers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (134,000) Afghanis have been provided to 16 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: 27 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the migrants by the Communications and Information Technology officials for free.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, as well as the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

7 families with 24 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (48,000) Afghanis have been provided to 7 families by the Financial management Committee.

The total figures for the various activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (52) families and (227) individuals

Transferred refugees: (11) families and (17) individuals

Assisted refugees: (41) families

SIM cards distributed: (113) units
