Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Saturday, 1446/7/3, corresponding to 1403/10/15, Afghan refugees returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

7 families returned to the country through Torkham and 25 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportation committee

1 family with 6 members from Torkham was safely transported to Laghman and (10,000) Afghanis were also paid to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (56,000) Afghanis have been provided to 8 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Umri Camp:

Food: 90 meals and water have been distributed at Torkham.

Health: 81 returning refugees have been treated at Torkham.

Communications: 33 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

1 family with 13 members has returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Financial management Committee

A total of (10,000) Afghanis have been provided to 1 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 45 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 96 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 5 SIM cards with free minutes and internet packages have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Authority.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

8 families with 36 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 601 travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (52,000) Afghanis have been provided to 6 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: 8 SIM cards with free minutes and internet packages were distributed to the migrants by the Communications and Information Technology officials.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, as well as about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Islam Qala, 12 families with 35 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (70,000) Afghanis have been provided to 12 families by the Financial different Committee.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (28) families and (109) individuals

Transferred refugees: (1) family and (6) individuals

Assisted refugees: (27) families

SIM cards distributed: (46) numbers
