Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Monday, 11/8/1446, corresponding to 22/11/1403, Afghan refugees returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

12 families returned to the country through Torkham and 55 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportation committee

5 families with 20 members were safely transported to Kabul from Torkham and (14,000) Afghanis were also paid to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (900,000) Afghanis have been provided to 11 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in the Torkham Umri Camp:

Food: 90 meals and water have been distributed in Torkham.

Health: 210 returning refugees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 51 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

9 families with 45 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

6 families with 32 members from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Kandahar and (11,000) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (76,000) Afghanis have been provided to 9 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 184 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 129 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 97 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Communications Services Administration.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through the Abrishom way of Nimroze province, 30 families with 120 members have returned to the country and registered, and 817 travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (186,000) Afghanis have been provided to 26 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: The officials of the Department of Communications and Information Technology distributed 30 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, as well as about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Islam Qala, 38 families with 124 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (222,000) Afghanis have been provided to 38 families by the Financial management Committee.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (89) families and (344) individuals

Transferred refugees: (11) families and (52) individuals

Assisted refugees: (84) families

Distributed SIM cards: (178) units
