Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Sunday, 1446/8/23, corresponding to 1403/12/5, Afghan refugees returned from different routes in the country and were provided with necessary services in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Financial management Committee

A total of (34,000) Afghanis have been provided to 4 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

16 families with 79 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

4 families with 24 members from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Kandahar and Uruzgan, and (9,000) Afghanis have also been paid to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (102,000) Afghanis have been provided to 13 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 169 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 84 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 41 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Communications Services Administration.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

45 families with 193 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 619 passengers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (322,000) Afghanis have been provided to 40 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: 45 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the migrants by the Communications and Information Technology officials for free.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, as well as about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Islam Qala, 18 families with 69 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (134,000) Afghanis have been provided to 18 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

6 families with 22 members from Kabul have been safely transferred to Takhar and Badakhshan and (12,800) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures of different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (79) families and (341) individuals

Transferred refugees: (10) families and (46) individuals

Helped refugees: (75) families

Distributed SIM cards: (86) numbers
