Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Monday, 16/10/1446, corresponding to 25/1/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

531 families returned to the country through Torkham and 1500 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportations committee

685 families with 3869 members have been safely transported from Torkham to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul, and (1695,000) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (7868,000 Afghanis) has been provided to 930 families by the financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today, 450 families have been temporarily settled in Torkham Omari Camp.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Torkham Camp:

Communications: 2012 SIM cards, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

194 families with 1132 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (3934,000) Afghanis have been provided to 459 families by the financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

402 families have been temporarily settled in Spin Boldak.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 4334 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 629 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 660 SIM cards have been distributed to returnees by the Communications Services Authority, which includes free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Temporary agreement Committee

83 families have been resettled in Nimroze temporary camp and 6 families in Paktika Angoor Ada camp.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

157 families with a total of 600 members have returned to the country and registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1132000) Afghanis have been provided to 154 families by the financial management Committee.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (882) families and (3232) individuals

Transferred refugees: (685) families and (3869) individuals

Assisted refugees: (1579) families

Temporarily settled refugees: (941) families

Distributed SIM cards: (2672) units
