Shaikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani was formally introduced as the new Minister of Information and Culture and has officially assumed his duties.
The introduction ceremony was attended by Shaikh Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of the Department of Affairs, Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, former Minister of Information and Culture, and several other officials.
Speaking at the event, Shaikh Noorul Haq Anwar said that appointments within the leadership of the Islamic Emirate are based on Sharia principles, stressing that the rotation and replacement of officials in line with rulings is a key principle of the Islamic system.
Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa highlighted the ministry’s achievements over the past four years across various sectors.
For his part, Shaikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani praised Khairkhwa’s efforts and achievements, and urged all ministry officials and employees to serve the people with honesty, loyalty, and full commitment, in line with established principles.
