For the first time, a specialization program has been launched at Paktia Regional Hospital. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health, inaugurated the program during an official visit to Paktia Province.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister Jalali emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing the capacity of healthcare professionals.
He noted that expanding specialization programs is a key step toward strengthening the national health system and effectively addressing existing challenges.
Additionally, the Minister announced that the procurement process for a CT scan machine for the hospital will begin in the near future, further improving diagnostic services in the region.
