This morning, a coordination meeting was held at the Charchinar Palace between the Spokesperson’s Office of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the spokespersons of various ministries and independent entities.
Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Mr. Hamdullah Fetrat welcomed the participants and emphasized the crucial role of spokespersons in informing the public about the Islamic Emirate’s activities.
He stressed Amir al-Mu’minin’s order regarding the need for coordination, collaboration, and rapid information sharing among spokespersons from ministries and independent entities.
Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, stressed the crucial responsibility of spokespersons and called for regular coordination meetings between them.
He also recommended that the Government Media Center organize training programs to improve their capabilities.
He urged spokespersons from ministries and independent entities to enhance their professional knowledge and perform their duties more effectively, ensuring that the public receives timely and accurate information about the Islamic Emirate’s work and achievements.
Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office expressed his satisfaction with the coordination meeting and conveyed the Prime Minister’s instruction for spokespersons to share information with the media only regarding their own departments while enhancing cooperation with each other.
He urged spokespersons to maintain ongoing coordination with the Spokesperson’s Office and ensure timely information sharing. He further stressed the importance of coordinating with the Spokesperson’s Office and sharing key information with the media.
Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi stressed that media outreach helps educate the public, raise awareness, and counter enemy propaganda. He concluded by wishing the spokespersons success in their roles.
Mawlawi Saif-ul-Islam Khyber, Mawlawi Misbah-ud-Din Mustayeen, Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, and Khalid Zadran provided updates on their work and offered suggestions for improvement.
The meeting concluded with a presentation from the Spokesperson’s Office, further discussions, and a closing prayer.
