The Deputy Minister of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs for Professional and Technical Affairs met with the Counselor of the Qatari Embassy in Kabul

the Deputy Minister of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs for Professional and Technical Affairs, Al-Hajj Mullah Abdul Razzaq Akhund, met with the Counselor of the Qatari Embassy in Kabul, Mr. Mardeef Al-Qashouti, in his office. This meeting was attended by the General Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs, respected Mawlawi Kaleemullah Afghan, the Director of the Ministry’s Office, respected Mawlawi Shah Muhammad Dost, the Director of Planning and Foreign Relations, respected Mullah Saddu Khan Haqshinas, as well as the Director of Information and Public Relations, respected Mufti Faisal Khamoosh.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Hajj Mullah Abdul Razzaq Akhund spoke about how the ministry provides services to orphans, widows, and the disabled, explaining that our country faces numerous challenges due to the previous war. For example, there are cases registered in the ministry of families with up to 36 orphans and 8 widows, necessitating full support for this needy segment of society.

He also added that the Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs transfers monthly cash assistance to all registered orphans, widows, and disabled individuals through the approved budget and the banking system.

In response, the Counselor of the Qatari Embassy in Kabul pledged to share the data and statistics of the registered orphans, widows, and disabled individuals with the Qatar Red Crescent, with the aim of providing further assistance in various areas for this needy segment and supporting them in multiple fields.
