The Minister of Higher Education visits Kunar University and delivers a speech at a grand gathering at Nangarhar University

During his official visit to the Eastern Zone, the Minister of Higher Education, honorable Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlawi Nida Mohammad Nadeem, visited Sayed Jamaluddin Afghani (Kunar) University.

In addition to providing necessary directives to the relevant officials, lecturers and students, he also delivered a speech at a grand gathering in the central masjid (mosque) of Nangarhar University.

This gathering was attended by the university leadership, officials, deans of 14 faculties, lecturers, officials of the teaching hospital and administrative staff.

In his speech, the honorable minister addressed the attendees and emphasized that teachers and other officials should fulfill their responsibility more effectively in training professional and competent cadres, and focus more on enhancing the capacity of students.

“The implementation of Islamic rulings and the protection of values can only be ensured by an Islamic system, and the safety and dignity of all Afghans are tied to the strength of the Islamic system,” he further added.

The Minister of Higher Education considered the victory of the Islamic Emirate as a shared pride of all Afghans and called on the attendees to support the Islamic system.

Also, the chancellor of Nangarhar University, Sheikh Inamullah Madani, welcomed the acting Minister of Higher Education and his accompanying delegation during his speech at the gathering.

Moreover, he expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Ministry of Higher Education for the progress in academic and teaching affairs and for approving the university’s proposals in various fields.

It is worth mentioning that the acting Minister of Higher Education also held a meeting with the students (fazilan) of the Imam Abu Hanifa (Rahimahullah) Religious School in Nangarhar, where he listened to their concerns and suggestions.
