The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Excellency Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, convened a formal meeting with Mawlawi Asadullah Bilal Karimi, the Ambassador of Afghanistan to the People’s Republic of China.
The meeting focused on enhancing mutual cooperation in the field of public health and exploring opportunities for collaboration in light of the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
Ambassador Karimi briefed Minister Jalali on China’s ongoing support to Afghanistan’s health sector, including contributions in the areas of medical equipment, infrastructure development, and capacity-building initiatives.
Minister Jalali expressed his sincere appreciation for China’s continued assistance and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening ties between the two nations.
He also emphasized the importance of sustainable partnerships and looked forward to the expansion of joint efforts aimed at improving health outcomes for the people of Afghanistan.
