It is with sadness that we acknowledge the passing of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Sayyid Ibrahim Raisi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amir Abdullahian, and their delegation in a helicopter crash in East Azerbaijan, Iran.
We express our deep sorrow over this tragic incident and pray for forgiveness from the Almighty Allah for Mr. Sayyid Ibrahim Raisi and his delegation. Our heartfelt condolences go out to their families, the nation, and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Islamic Emirate stands in solidarity with its brother and friend, the Islamic Republic of Iran, during this time of mourning.
