The six-day exams for the “Alyi” and “Alamy” levels for the year 1446 (AHL) starts in 31 provinces of the country by the prayers and recommendations of the acting Ministers of Higher Education and Education, as well as the Governor of Kabul.

At the very commencement of the ceremony at Kabul University, the acting Minister of Education, Mawlavi Habibuallah Agha, spoke about the value of knowledge and expressed that in the past, there were fewer opportunities for acquiring knowledge, but now many conditions have been provided for learning, from which we should make the utmost benefit.

Also, the acting Minister of Higher Education, Sheikh ul Hadith Mawlavi Nida Mohammad Nadeem, considered the commencement of these exams important in the country after the taking over of the Islamic Emirate, and thanked the leadership of the Islamic Emirate and the officials of the Ministry of Education.

In his speech, He mentioned that these exams play an exceptional role in the advancement of Islam, scholars, and the improvement of knowledge and quality, and have created an outstanding system for assessing the academic levels of the religious scholars.

The acting Minister of Higher Education stated that the exams are being monitored by the ministry’s officials in all provinces, and approximately a thousand people have been appointed to organize the affairs.

He wished success and prosperity to the exam participants from Allah (SWT), and requested them to adhere to all the rules of the exams and remain committed to transparency.

Besides, the Governor of Kabul province, Mawlavi Aminullah Obaid, urged the mentioned scholars not to make the diplomas their goal, but to dedicate their intentions to serving the people and the system, and to work for the advancement of knowledge.

It is worth mentioning that a total of 26,000 religious scholars have participated in these exams across the country, of which 15,000 are from the Alamy level and 11,000 from Alyi level.
