The Third National and International Exhibition of Imam Abu Hanifa Inaugurated by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs

The Third National and International Exhibition of Imam Abu Hanifa was inaugurated today, on October 06, 2024, by Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund.

The ceremony marking the event was attended by several esteemed members of the cabinet, diplomats from Iran, Turkey, Qatar, and Pakistan, businesspeople, and representatives from Afghanistan’s private sector.

During his address at the event, Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund emphasized that each country holds a unique position and significance in regional and international trade based on its products and goods.

He highlighted that countries strive to find extensive markets for their products. According to him, exhibitions are one of the best ways to expand trade relations between nations and to find markets for their goods.

He expressed his delight that the Third National and International Exhibition of Imam Abu Hanifa is being inaugurated for the third time in Kabul.

The Deputy Prime Minister further added that, in addition to Afghan products, important and high-quality products from several foreign companies are also being showcased at the exhibition.

This will help expand trade relations between both sides and create significant opportunities for joint marketing efforts.

Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund assured the representatives of all foreign companies and investors that the Islamic Emirate is fully committed to expanding and strengthening trade interactions and relations based on mutual needs.

He emphasized that there would be no obstacles or delays in this regard.

He also urged all investors to note that Afghanistan is fully secure and conducive to all types of investment.

The Islamic Emirate is firmly committed to attracting investment, especially foreign investment, and investors are encouraged to invest, particularly in establishing standardized packaging centers and cold storage facilities.

This would help Afghan products gain better access to international markets.

In conclusion, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund called the Third National and International Exhibition of Imam Abu Hanifa an important step in the economic growth of the country and the strengthening of trade relations.

He expressed hope that through this platform, trade interactions between Afghanistan and other countries would be further enhanced.

It is noteworthy that the first and second National and International Exhibitions of Imam Abu Hanifa were also held in Kabul.

The current exhibition showcases various industrial products and agricultural goods across 700 booths, 200 of which are dedicated to foreign companies.
