In a regular meeting of the Technical Committee of the Economic Commission, several revenue-enhancement plans were presented by the Agricultural Research Department, the Agricultural Seeds Department, the Livestock Services and Animal Health Department, and the Plant Protection and Quarantine Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock.
After thorough discussion, the committee approved the plans and forwarded them to the Economic Commission for final decision-making.
According to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, the implementation of these plans will improve both the quality and quantity of agricultural and livestock products, facilitate their export to international markets, and increase the Ministry of Agriculture’s overall revenue.
