Mohammad Sharifullah, initially accused of masterminding the Kabul airport attack, has been found not to be its main planner, according to FBI Special Officer Seth Parker.
Testifying in court, Parker stated that while Sharifullah played a role, he was not the key architect of the attack.
His lawyer also emphasized that he was not among the primary plotters.
This revelation contradicts earlier claims by former US President Donald Trump, who credited Pakistan’s assistance in capturing the alleged mastermind of the 2021 Kabul airport attack.
