U.S. President Donald Trump expressed strong disapproval of Vladimir Putin on Sunday, saying he is “not happy” with the Russian leader amid ongoing missile strikes on Ukrainian cities. Speaking to reporters in New Jersey, Trump said, “He’s killing a lot of people,” and confirmed he is considering new sanctions on Russia.
Trump criticized Putin’s actions, including recent attacks on Kyiv and other cities, calling them “unacceptable.” He added, “We’re in the middle of talking, and he’s shooting rockets into cities. I don’t like it at all.”
Trump also noted that Putin appears unwilling to end the war, believing he is still “winning,” as discussed in a recent call with European leaders.
