Turkish Airlines resumed its flights to Afghanistan

After a suspension of two years and eight months, Turkish Airlines resumed its flights to Afghanistan on Tuesday, the first day of the month of Jawza.

The Turkish ambassador in Kabul, Cenk Ünal, called the flights of this company to Afghanistan valuable and stated that Turkish Airlines is one of the best airlines in Turkey, offering numerous flights to the region and around the world.

He emphasized that the renewed activity of Turkish Airlines holds special significance for the trade, business, and cultural relations between the two countries.

Company officials have announced that there will be flights from Turkey to Kabul and vice versa four times a month, with ticket prices expected to decrease with the resumption of flights.

Additionally, officials from the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation have confirmed that the country’s airports have returned to their standard status and are encouraging domestic and international airlines to resume their flights to Afghanistan.

It is noteworthy that Mahan Airlines, Fly Dubai, Al Jazeera, Al Arabiya, and Qatar have also resumed their flights to Afghanistan.
