Two significant economic agreements between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have been finalized, Balkh provincial governor’s spokesman Haji Zaid announced.
According to Zaid, under the first agreement, Afghanistan will export coal to Uzbekistan instead of Pakistan, while Uzbekistan will supply cement to Afghanistan in return.
He added that under a separate agreement, Uzbekistan will also export high-quality medicines to Afghanistan.
