The United Kingdom, France, Italy, and Germany have expressed support for the Arab League’s initiative to rebuild Gaza.
“We, the Foreign Ministers of France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom, welcome the Arab initiative of a Recovery and Reconstruction Plan for Gaza,” the ministers said in a joint statement on Saturday.
“The plan outlines a realistic path for Gaza’s reconstruction and, if implemented, promises a swift and sustainable improvement in the catastrophic living conditions faced by Palestinians in Gaza,” the statement added.
