Ukraine has agreed to a US-proposed 30-day immediate ceasefire with Russia following a day of talks in SaudiArabia.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that he would present the offer to Moscow, stating, “the ball is in their court,” though Russia has yet to respond publicly.
President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that it is now up to the US to persuade Russia to accept the “positive” proposal.
