Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree signing a preferential trade agreement with Afghanistan.
According to Uzbek media reports, the agreement includes the abolition of customs tariffs on 14 types of goods, provision of phytosanitary facilities for Afghan agricultural products, increased facilities for exporters and increased Uzbek exports.
The agreement was signed last year on the sidelines of the Tashkent International Investment Forum between the ministers of industry and trade of the two countries.
