For over a year and a half, the Zionist regime has engaged in widespread oppression, aggression, and grave crimes against the innocent and defenseless people of Palestine.
Following the martyrdom of tens of thousands of innocent civilians—many of them women and children—and the near-total destruction of Gaza, the occupying regime now appears intent on either exterminating or forcibly displacing its remaining population. The deliberate imposition of famine and the relentless bombing of civilian areas bear witness to this grim reality.
As people of faith and conscience, it is our moral and religious duty to stand in solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza.
This coming Friday, citizens across the country are called upon to raise their voices in protest against this ongoing genocide.
We urge everyone to participate in nationwide demonstrations, standing united against injustice and in support of peace and human dignity.
Imams are encouraged to dedicate their Friday sermons to condemning the atrocities in Gaza and calling for an immediate end to the violence. Furthermore, mosques across the nation should organize collective recitations of the Holy Qur’an and prayers for the people of Gaza.
We call on all Muslims—and indeed all people of conscience—to join together in this urgent cry for justice, to demand an end to the violence, and to advocate for the protection of innocent lives.
