According to reports, a delegation from the Hamas movement is traveling to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, for talks aimed at strengthening the ceasefire in Gaza today. Ceasefire efforts in Gaza have been accelerated to reach an agreement before the planned military operations of the Zionist regime in Rafah city and to postpone the planned attack by Israel. Differences within the Israeli cabinet have also increased regarding the ceasefire and the release of prisoners in the area. Some are advocating for an agreement to release the prisoners, while others are supporting a ground attack on Rafah city. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has requested the United States to prevent the planned Israeli attack on Rafah city. Saudi Arabia has also called for stability in the region. It has been seven months since the crimes and continuous attacks of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip. According to a United Nations report, the destruction of houses and buildings in this war has generated nearly 37 million pieces of debris, including unexploded ordnance, and it will take 14 years to clean and remove it. The United Nations official in the field of mine clearance has stated that approximately 300 kg of rubble has been created per square meter in Gaza. At least 34,356 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been martyred, and more than 77,000 have been wounded due to the attacks of the Zionist invaders in Gaza.
