Security Council lifts the travel ban on four officials of the Islamic Emirate

The Sanctions Committee of the United Nations Security Council announced yesterday (Thursday, June 6) that the Political Deputy of the Prime Minister, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Minister of Hajj and Endowments, Shaikh Noor Mohammad Saqib, Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, and Director General of Intelligence, Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq, have lifted the travel ban.

This is while Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani went to the United Arab Emirates on his first foreign trip last Tuesday, June 4, under the leadership of a delegation that included the Director General of Intelligence of the Islamic Emirate, Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq.

On the other hand, regarding the ongoing global engagement with the Islamic Emirate, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the importance of fostering relations with the Islamic Emirate during a meeting with leaders of prominent international agencies at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum. It is widely acknowledged that the Islamic Emirate governs the territory of Afghanistan, necessitating the establishment of relations with it.
