The spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has strongly condemned what he described as Pakistani military airstrikes on civilian areas in the eastern provinces of Kunar, Khost, and Paktika.
According to the spokesperson, Pakistani forces violated Afghanistan’s airspace overnight and bombed residential homes, resulting in the deaths of 11 children, one woman, and one elderly man. Fourteen other civilians, including women and children, were reportedly injured.
The Islamic Emirate denounced the strikes as a “brutal and inhumane act of aggression” and a violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty, calling the civilian casualties unacceptable.
