According to the Health Ministry in the enclave on Monday, the Israeli army martyred 39 additional Palestinians in attacks in the Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of martyrs since last October 7 to 39,363.
An additional 90,923 individuals have been hurt in the assault, according to a ministry statement.
According to the government, “in three ‘massacres’ against families in the last 24 hours, Israeli forces martyred 39 people and injured 93 others.”
“Rescuers are unable to reach many people who are still trapped under rubble and on the roads,” it continued.
Disregarding a UN Security Council resolution that called for an immediate cease-fire, Israel has come under international criticism for its ongoing, ruthless assault on Gaza following an attack by the Palestinian organization Hamas on October 7, 2023.
Large areas of Gaza are in ruins and there is a severe shortage of food, clean water, and medical supplies more than nine months into the Israeli-Gaza conflict.
The International Court of Justice, which accused Israel of genocide, just ruled that Tel Aviv must immediately cease its military operation in Rafah, a southern city where more than a million Palestinians had sought safety from the conflict before it was attacked on May 6.
