Mawlawi Ghulam Rahman Kazim, Executive Director of the State-Owned Water Supply and Sewerage Corporation, stated that the budget for the medium-term Kabul Water Supply Project (MTP1) has been approved during the 10th meeting of the Economic Commission.
He added that with the implementation of this project, more than 1.5 million residents of Kabul will gain access to safe drinking water.
