Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Monday, 23/1/1446, which corresponds to 8/5/1403, Afghan refugees returned from different routes in the country, and they were provided with necessary services in different areas. The full report is presented as follows: 

Nangarhar 

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation, and Receiving Committee

Today, 35 families returned to the country through Torkham, and 166 members of these families have been registered and biometric. 

Transportation committee 

From Torkham, 29 families with a total of 130 members were safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman, and Kabul provinces, and 90,000 Afghani rent was paid to these families.

Finance Management Committee

35 families were helped by the Financial Affairs Committee, which is made up of 282 Afghanis in total.

Temporary Agreement Committee

Today, 17 families have been temporarily settled in the Torkham Omari camp. 

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

In the Torkham Age camp, returning refugees are provided with important services, including health: Communications: 123-digit SIM cards, with free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returned refugees. 

Kandahar 

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation, and Receiving Committee

Today, 37 families with a total of 195 members returned to the country and were registered through Spin Boldak.

Finance Management Committee

A total of 296,000 Afghanis were given to 36 families in Taktha Pul Camp by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary Agreement Committee

In the last two days, 38 families have been settled in the temporary camp of Taktha Pul.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:Food: 285 meals and clean water were given to refugees in Spin Boldak Health: 100 returned refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak. Also, 318 refugees have been given public awareness in different areas of health Clothing: Tents, blankets, and other supplies have been distributed to refugees in temporary camps as needed.Communications: The Telecommunication Services Agency has distributed 91 SIM cards to the returned refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages. 

Nimroze 

Abrishom way 

Registration, Confirmation, and Receiving Committee

Today, 50 families with 189 members have returned to the country and registered, and 1308 travelers have come to the country. 

Finance Management Committee

A total of $288,000 in financial assistance was given to 41 families today by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary Agreement Committee

In the last two days, 234 families have been settled in a temporary agreement camp in Nimroz.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

Different services were provided to the returning refugees in Nimroz today:Communications: 50-digit SIM cards have been distributed to the returned refugees, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages. 

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees in the Abrishom Way of Nimroz Province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transportation, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education, and training. 

Herat

Islam Qala 

Registration, Confirmation, and Receiving Committee

109 families with 224 members have returned to the country and been registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

Today, 970,000 Afghanis were given to 119 families in Islam Qala Bandar by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary Agreement Committee

In the last two days, 87 families have been placed in a temporary agreement camp in the Islam Qala of Herat. 

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:
