Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Friday, 1446/3/10, which coincides with 1403/6/23, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided necessary services in different areas.

The Full Report is Presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Torkham 29 families have returned to the country and 151 members of these families have been registered and biometric.

Transportation committee

11 families from Torkham with a total of 59 members have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul provinces and these families have been given 41,000 Afghani rent.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (354,000) Afghanis is given to 44 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health are provided to returning refugees in Torkham Omari Camp:

Communications: 27-digit SIM cards have been distributed to the returnees, free of charge, with free minutes and internet bundles enabled.

In Torkham, some clothes such as mattresses and other things have been distributed to the refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

31 families with 149 members returned to the country and were registered through Spin Boldak.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (200,000 Afghanis) is given to 27 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 340 food and water are distributed in the spin Boldak.

Health: 134 returned refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Also, 430 refugees have been given public awareness in different areas of health.

Clothing: In temporary camps, tents and blankets have been distributed to refugees as needed.

Communication: The Department of Communication Services has distributed 150 sim cards to the returned refugees free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

75 families whose members were 320 returned to the country and were registered through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province, and also 1687 travelers returned to the country.

Finance Management Committee

A total of 498 Afghanis has been given to 65 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: Communications and Information Technology officials have distributed 75 sim cards to the refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

220 families with 406 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (584,000) Afghanis has been given to 84 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

6 families from Kabul, whose members were 33 have been safely transported to Paktia, Kunduz and Jawzjan provinces and these families have been given (26,000 Afghani) rent.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (355) families and (1026) individuals

Deported refugees: (17) families and (92) individuals

Assisted migrants: (220) families

Shared SIM Cards: (252) Digits
