Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Monday, 1446/4/9, which coincides with 1403/7/23, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided with necessary services in different areas.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

10 families returned to the country through Torkham and 45 members of these families were registered and biometriced.

Transportation committee

3 families from Torkham, whose number of members was 12, have been safely transported to Nangarhar and Kabul provinces, and (18,000 Afghanis) rent has been given to these families.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (104,000) Afghanis is given to 13 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in the Torkham camp:

Food: 210 food and water are distributed in Torkham.

Health: 139 returnees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 21-digit SIM cards, with free minutes and internet packages activated, have been distributed to the returned migrants.

In Torkham, some clothes such as mattresses and other things have been distributed to the refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

21 families with 106 members returned to the country and were registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

Two 13 families from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Kabul province and these families have been given 7,000 Afghani rent.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (124,000 Afghanis) is given to 21 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health are provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 278 food and water are distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 89 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Also, 269 refugees have been given public awareness in different areas of health.

Clothing: In temporary camps, tents and blankets have been distributed to refugees as needed.

Communication: From the Telecommunication Services Agency, 119 sim cards have been distributed to the returned refugees free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

97 families whose number of members were 380 have returned to the country and registered and also 1319 travelers have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (666,000) Afghanis has been given to 92 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health were provided to the returning migrants along in the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: Communications and Information Technology officials have distributed 97 sim cards to the refugees free of charge, which included free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

152 families with 584 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (1066,000 Afghanis) has been given to 146 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

From Kabul 11 families with 57 members have been safely transported to Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar and Paktika provinces and these families have been given (28,500 Afghanis) rent.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (280) families and (1115) individuals

Deported refugees: (16) families and (82) individuals

Assisted migrants: (272) families

Split SIM cards: (297) digits
