Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Saturday, 1446/4/16, which coincides with 1403/7/28, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided with necessary services in different areas.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

13 families returned to the country through Torkham and 72 members of these families were registered and biometriced.

Transportation committee

6 families from Torkham, whose number of members was 28, have been safely transported to Kabul and Nangarhar, and these families have been given (4,000) Afghan rent.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (92,000) Afghanis is given to 10 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 89 families have been settled in Torkham Omari camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health were provided to returning refugees in Torkham Omari Camp:

Food: 180 meals and water are distributed in Torkham.

Health: 123 returned refugees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 23-digit SIM cards with free minutes and internet packages have been distributed to the returnees.

In Torkham, some clothes such as mattresses and other things have been distributed to the refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Spin Boldak, 4 families with 18 members returned to the country and were registered.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (34,000) Afghanis is given to 4 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 165 families have been settled in Taktha Pul camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health are provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 263 food and water are distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 80 returned refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Also, 289 refugees have been given public awareness in different areas of health.

Clothing: In temporary camps, tents and blankets have been distributed to refugees as needed.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

7 families whose number of members were 23 have returned to the country and registered and also 655 travelers have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (32,000) Afghanis has been given to 5 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 212 families have been settled in Nimroz temporary camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communication: 23-digit SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, by the officials of communication and information technology.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

19 families with 66 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (126,000) Afghanis has been given to 18 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 239 families have been settled in Islam Qala camp.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

From Kabul 10 families with 41 members have been safely transported to Kunduz, Balkh, Takhar and Badakhshan provinces and 22100 Afghani rent has been given to these families.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (43) families and (179) individuals

Deported refugees: (16) families and (69) individuals

Assisted migrants: (37) families

Temporarily settled migrants: (705) families

Shared SIM Cards: (46) Digits
