Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Saturday, 1446/5/14, which coincides with 1403/8/26, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided with necessary services in different areas.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

14 families returned to the country through Torkham and 75 members of these families were registered and biometriced.

Transportation committee

7 families from Torkham, whose number of members was 42, have been safely transported to Kabul and Nangarhar provinces, and (38,000 Afghanis) rent has been paid to these families.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (156,000 Afghanis) has been given to 18 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 18 families have been settled in Torkham’s Omari camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health were provided to returning refugees in Torkham Omari Camp:

Food: 250 food and water are distributed in Torkham.

Health: 227 returned refugees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 68-digit SIM cards with free minutes and internet packages have been distributed to the returnees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Spin Boldak, 10 families with 56 members have returned to the country and have been registered.

Transportation committee

13 families with 74 members from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Zabul and Ghazni provinces and 9,000 Afghani rent has been given to these families.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (76,000) Afghanis has been given to 10 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 66 families have been settled in Taktha Pul camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health are provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 192 food and water are distributed in the Spin Boldak.

Health: 82 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communication: The Department of Communication Services has distributed 12 SIM cards free of charge to the returned refugees, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

3 families with 9 members have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province and have been registered and also 593 travelers have returned to the country.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (10,000) Afghanis has been given to 3 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 131 families have been settled in Nimroz temporary camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communication: The officials of communication and information technology have distributed 3 SIM cards to the refugees free of charge, which included free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

11 families with 42 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (720,000) Afghanis has been given to 10 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 219 families have been settled in Islam Qala camp.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

From Kabul, 23 families with a total of 118 members have been safely transported to Kunduz, Takhar, Baghlan, Samangan, Paktia, Khost and Badakhshan.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (38) families and (182) individuals

Transported refugees: (43) families and (234) individuals

Assisted migrants: (41) families

Temporarily settled migrants: (350) families

Shared SIM Cards: (83) Digits
