Secretariat of the High Commission to address Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Thursday, 1446/6/3, corresponding to 1403/9/15, Afghan refugees returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

16 families returned to the country through Torkham and 76 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportation committee

9 families with 47 members from Torkham were safely transported to Kabul, Kunar and Nangarhar and (37,000 Afghanis) were also paid to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (78,000) Afghanis have been provided to 10 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Omari Camp:

Food: 180 meals and water have been distributed at Torkham.

Health: 157 returning refugees have been treated at Torkham.

Communications: 77 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

12 families with 74 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Financial management Committee

A total of (110,000) Afghanis have been provided to 12 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 218 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 110 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Telecommunications: The Telecommunications Services Authority has distributed 34 free SIM cards to the returned refugees, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

69 families with 267 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroz province have returned to the country and registered, and 3291 passengers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (418,000) Afghanis have been provided to 58 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: The Communications and Information Technology officials distributed 69 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants from the Abrishom way of Nimroze. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

56 families with 214 members returned to the country through Islam Qala and registered them.

Financial management Committee

A total of (398,000) Afghanis have been provided to 56 families by the Financial management Committee.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (153) families and (631) individuals

Transferred refugees: (9) families and (47) individuals

Assisted refugees: (136) families

Distributed SIM cards: (180) numbers
