Construction has commenced on a state-of-the-art health facility valued at 380,000 US dollars in the Pirushi region, situated in the heart of Urozgan province, Tarinkot.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Urozgan’s governor, Mawlawi Enayatullah Shuja, alongside representatives from pertinent governmental bodies, tribal leaders, local community members, and healthcare professionals.
Dr. Mohammad Allah Rohani, the director of Urozgan’s public health department, conveyed his elation regarding the establishment of the health center.
He further emphasized that, upon becoming operational, the facility will not only enhance healthcare accessibility but also contribute significantly to the reduction of maternal and child mortality rates.
This cutting-edge health center, financed by UNHCR, will deliver an array of advanced and standardized healthcare services to the region’s inhabitants, featuring 36 fully equipped rooms.
