Officials held a meeting to review and strengthen the regulation of work visa issuance for foreign nationals, authorities said.
The session was chaired by Mawlawi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai and attended by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, and Ministry of Information and Culture.
According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, discussions focused on improving procedures for issuing work visas, preventing the misuse of tourist visas for employment, and expanding access to work permits.
Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal emphasized the importance of foreign nationals in boosting national revenue and economic growth, highlighting the need to attract increased foreign investment.
