The Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority had a Meeting with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Afghanistan at his office

The Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Nuruddin Turabi, met with Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Gaziz Akbasof, and his accompanying delegation at his office.

Turabi Sahb warmly welcomed the delegation and engaged in discussions regarding the achievements and challenges faced by Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority.

He highlighted that a large number of people in Afghanistan are struggling with poverty and urgently need assistance.

Furthermore, Turabi Sahb acknowledged Kazakhstan’s continued cooperation and assistance to Afghanistan, expressing gratitude for their support and requesting further collaboration and aid in the future.

Kazakhstan’s Ambassador, Mr. Gaziz Akbasof, thanked Turabi Sahb for the warm reception and referred to Afghanistan as a good friend of Kazakhstan.

He mentioned the assistance provided by Kazakhstan so far and pledged to continue supporting Afghanistan to strengthen the ties between the two countries.

Ambassador Akbasov also noted that the aid Kazakhstan provides to Afghanistan primarily comes from their own production, with some items being procured from other countries and shared as assistance.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the respected Kazakh Ambassador requested Turabi Sahb to provide a list of essential food and non-food items required by Afghanistan.

In response to the request, Turabi Sahb assured that Kazakhstan would deliver the assistance promptly.

He promised to officially submit the lists within two days.
