As part of their visit to Iran, the judicial delegation of the Supreme Court of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan visited the Afghan Embassy in Tehran today, Monday (19/7/1446 AH).
The delegation after arrival to embassy met with the embassy’s Deputy Head, Honorable Mawlawi Nasir Ahmad “Haqqani”; the Consul, Mr. Mir Anwar “Ghafari”; the Head of Protocol, Mawlawi Mohammad Aleem “Noorani”; and other officials
During the meeting, the head of the judicial delegation, Honorable Sheikh Abdul Malik “Haqqani”, addressed the embassy officials and staff, emphasizing that country embassies abroad are the sole point of contact for addressing the issues faced by Afghan citizens.
He urged them to carry out their duties with utmost honesty and sincerity and to address the concerns of their fellow citizens promptly and effectively.
Also the head of the delegation further stressed that, as representatives of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, it is your responsibility to uphold Islamic principles and the policies of the Emirate in your work, ensuring they fulfill their duties with complete integrity.
Additionally, the Chief of the Central Tamiz of the Supreme Court and other members of the judicial delegation inquired about the services provided by the embassy concerning the issuance of Sharia-based legal documents for Afghans residing in Iran.
They requested the embassy staff to highlight any challenges in this regard so that appropriate measures could be taken to address them.
The Deputy Head of the Embassy, Honorable Mawlawi Nasir Ahmad “Haqqani”, extended a warm welcome to the judicial delegation on behalf of all embassy officials and staff.
He expressed gratitude for their visit and assured them that the embassy’s affair’s are transparent and adhere to established regulations.
He added, “We strive to ensure that no clients task is delayed unnecessarily.”
The Consul, Mr. Ghafari, also highlighted that the embassy staff considers themselves servants of their fellow citizens and diligently perform their duties in accordance with the principles of the Islamic Emirate.
Mr. Ghafari noted that the Afghan Embassy in Tehran is among the busiest embassy with approximately 3,600 passports being processed and renewed daily.
He also shared specific needs related to the distribution of legal documents with the judicial delegation.
The delegation assured them that these needs would be addressed appropriately.
