As part of the high-level delegation visit of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to Uzbekistan, Mawlawi Ataullah Omari, Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, met with his Uzbek counterpart, Ibrahim Abdul Rahmanov.
The Uzbek Minister of Agriculture stated that Uzbek experts would cooperate in the construction of dams, irrigation canals, and the improved management of Afghanistan’s water resources.
In response, Mawlawi Ataullah Omari welcomed the cooperation and emphasized the importance of expanding and sustaining interactions between the two countries in the fields of agriculture, irrigation, and livestock.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to work towards implementing their commitments, with a technical delegation from the Ministries of Agriculture of both countries set to oversee the implementation of these agreements.
