The top diplomats of Iran and Turkey met and held discussions on the sidelines of the extraordinary session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Foreign Ministers in Jeddah on Friday night.
During the meeting, Araghchi underscored the need for enhanced coordination among Islamic nations to address challenges in the West Asia region.
He called for a unified and decisive stance against efforts to forcibly displace Palestinians from Gaza.
He also expressed concern over the growing instability in Syria, emphasizing that the new Syrian authorities must ensure the security of all communities.
Araghchi warned that continued unrest in Syria benefits the Zionist regime and provides opportunities for terrorist and extremist groups to expand their activities.
