Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Saturday, 14/10/1446, corresponding to 23/1/1404, Afghan refugees were returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

820 families returned to the country through Torkham and 5000 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportations committee

878 families with a total of 4762 members have been safely transported from Torkham to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul, and (1996,000) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (8240,000) Afghanis have been provided to 975 families by the financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today, 635 families have been temporarily settled in the Torkham Omari camp.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 3003 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

288 families with 1543 members returned to the country through Spin Boldak and were registered.

Transportation committee

213 families with 1102 members were safely transported from Spin Boldak to Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Paktika, Farah, Ghazni and Kabul, and (689400) Afghanis were also paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (2,962,000) Afghanis have been provided to 396 families by the Financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

250 families have been temporarily settled in Spin Boldak.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

14 families with 64 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 520 travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (106,000) Afghanis have been provided to 14 families by the Financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

169 families have been settled in the temporary camp in Nimroz.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: The officials of the Communications and Information Technology Department distributed 14 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants from the Abrishom way of Nimroze. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

18 families with 70 members returned to the country through Islam Qala and registered them.

Financial management Committee

A total of (140,000) Afghanis have been provided to 18 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportations committee

315 families with 1,708 members from Kabul have been safely transported to Ghazni, Logar, Khost, Paktia, Paktika, Baghlan, Takhar, Balkh, Jawzjan and Kunduz, and (797,800) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (1140) families and (6677) individuals

Transferred refugees: (1403) families and (7572) individuals

Assisted refugees: (1403) families

Temporarily settled refugees: (1054) families

SIM cards distributed: (3017) numbers
