Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Sunday, 15/10/1446, corresponding to 24/1/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

450 families returned to the country through Torkham and 2500 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportations committee

552 families with 3067 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul, and (1464300) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (8970000) Afghanis have been provided to 1055 families by the financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 880 families have been temporarily settled in the Torkham Omari Camp.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 2788 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

402 families with 2067 members returned to the country through Spin Boldak and were registered.

Financial management Committee

The Financial management Committee has provided (3344,000) Afghanis to 391 families.

Temporary agreement Committee

288 families have been temporarily settled in Spin Boldak.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 3918 food and water were distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 488 returning refugees were treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 658 SIM cards were distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Administration, which included free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

76 families with 320 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 1147 travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (560,000) Afghanis have been provided to 75 families by the financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

76 families have been settled in the temporary camp in Nimroze and 9 families in the Angoor Ada camp in Paktika.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the refugees returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: 76 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the refugees by the Communications and Information Technology officials for free.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Islam Qala, 49 families with 166 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (280,000) Afghanis have been provided to 43 families by the financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportations committee

210 families with 1216 members from Kabul have been safely transferred to Ghazni, Logar, Khost, Paktia, Paktika, Baghlan, Takhar, Balkh, Jawzjan and Kunduz and (509450) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (977) families and (5053) individuals

Transferred refugees: (262) families and (4282) individuals

Helped refugees: (1564) families

Temporarily settled refugees: (1193) families

Distributed SIM cards: (3522) units
