Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Tuesday, 17/10/1446, corresponding to 26/1/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

606 families returned to the country through Torkham and 3235 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportations committee

757 families with 4102 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul and (1726300) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (7822000) Afghanis have been provided to 726 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 1775 SIM cards, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

220 families with 1104 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

196 families with 1029 members from Spin Boldak have been safely transferred to Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Paktika, Farah, Ghazni and Kabul, and (722900) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (2602000) Afghanis has been provided to 311 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 3754 food, bread and water were distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 766 returning refugees were treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 757 SIM cards were distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Administration, which included free minutes and internet packages.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

240 families with 921 members returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1,690,000) Afghanis were provided to 233 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportations committee

432 families with 2443 members from Kabul have been safely transferred to Ghazni, Logar, Khost, Paktia, Paktika, Baghlan, Takhar, Balkh, Jawzjan and Kunduz and (1181000) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (1066) families and (5260) individuals

Transferred refugees: (1385) families and (7574) individuals

Helped refugees: (1270) families

Distributed SIM cards: (2532) numbers
