Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi arrived in Rome, the capital of Italy, this morning (Saturday, April 19) to participate in the second round of talks between Tehran and Washington.
Esmail Baqaei, spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, said: “The second round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States, chaired by Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi and Steve Whittaker, the US President’s special representative for the Middle East, will be held in Rome on Saturday.”
Baqaei emphasized that this round of talks, like the first round, will be held indirectly through Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaedi.
